Qwout Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about how we handle high-value asset transfers or our unique blind bidding process? Find all the answers right here.
General
What exactly is Qwout?
Qwout is a premium raffle platform specifically designed for high-value items such as luxury homes, exotic cars, and exclusive collectibles. We combine the excitement of a traditional raffle with a unique "Blind Bid" final stage to ensure items go to those who value them most.
Is Qwout available globally?
Currently, Qwout operates in selected jurisdictions to comply with local raffle and gaming laws. Please check our eligibility page to see if your country of residence is supported before purchasing tickets.
How is transparency maintained?
Every drawing uses a provably fair random number generation system. The server seed hash is published before ticket sales begin, and the full seed is revealed after the draw for independent verification.
Tickets & Payments
Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?
Each raffle may have per-customer limits set by the listing agency. Typical limits range from 50-200 tickets per person. The limit is displayed on the property detail page.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
Are ticket purchases refundable?
Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable once confirmed. However, if a raffle is cancelled before the drawing, all ticket purchases for that raffle will be fully refunded.
The Blind Bid
How does the "Blind Bid" work?
After the random drawing selects 5 finalists, each finalist submits a sealed bid for the property. No one can see other bids. The highest bid wins. This ensures the property goes to the person who values it most, while maintaining complete fairness.
Do more tickets increase my blind bid chances?
Yes. Each ticket gives you one entry in the random drawing. More tickets means more chances to be one of the 5 finalists selected. Additionally, higher ticket bundles grant bonus blind bid submissions.
Is there a Reserve Price?
No. Qwout operates with No Reserve. The highest blind bid among the five finalists wins the item, regardless of the amount. This makes every raffle genuine and exciting.
Winning & Legal
Who handles the legal transfer of assets?
Qwout partners with licensed legal firms in each jurisdiction to handle all title transfers, escrow services, and legal documentation. Winners are assigned a dedicated concierge who guides them through the entire process.
Are there hidden fees for winners?
No hidden fees. The winning bid amount is the total cost. Qwout covers standard legal transfer fees and title insurance. Winners may be responsible for applicable taxes based on their jurisdiction.
How long does it take to receive a prize?
The typical closing process takes 30-60 days for real estate, depending on jurisdiction. Vehicles and smaller items are typically delivered within 14 business days. Your dedicated concierge will provide a detailed timeline.
